as an Administrator forour college, to make a mention about

the journey of our educational institution.
The BAJSS Arts and Commerce College for women began in a
rented building during the academic year 1979- 980 with
a noble purpose to provide higher education to the women
noble folk of this area, concentrating manly on the rural
students in particular.
our academic journey was not so much comfortable which was
Lagging behind in providing infrastructural facilities due
to lack of funds. The days have turned around, all days
are not dark days of difficulties by the dint of our hard
work and our vision, we shaw the raise of hope of progress.
With the dedicated efforts of management and teaching staff
our ship of education institution a sailed across the ocean
of problems. Now our institution is keeping its pace with
a changing tune of the borderless world of the globalization.
Hence, we are providing quality education to the rural women
folk so as to make them able to compete in the context of
competitive world.
Our eternal dedication to the class of quality education
and all-round development tax the disciplines, and due to
our efficient Cautious administration has brought a magnificent
Results.
Our academic relevance and excellence of our institution
was recognised as one of the top ten colleges
of Karnataka state, by All-Indiasurvey of Sunday
India magazine,and our institution got University
rank for the academic year 2009-10. I am proud to speak
these words on the record.
I have prayed to Goddess Gaytri to bless our management
and staff so as to work still more efficiently to serve
